Nakon što su strani mediji prenijeli kako će Meghan Markle uskoro postati nova kolumnistica časopisa Vogue, u kojemu će promovirati svoj humanitarni rad, vijest je sada i službeno potvrđena na Instagram profilu vojvode i vojvotkinje od Sussexa.

- S ponosom objavljujemo da je Njeno Kraljevsko Visočanstvo, vojvotkinja od Sussexa, gostujući urednik za septembarsko izdanje britanskog izdanja časopisa Vogue. Posljednjih sedam mjeseci vojvotkinja je uređivala sadržaj s glavnim urednikom Edwardom Enninfulom kako bi stvorili izdanje koje naglašava moć kolektiva. Naslovnicu su nazvali: "Sile za promjene." Za naslovnicu, vojvotkinja je izabrala 15 različitih žena iz svih sfera života od kojih svaka utječe na podizanje svijesti o jednakosti, ljubaznosti, pravdi i prihvatanju različitosti. Šesnaesti prostor na naslovnici, ogledalo, ubačen je kako bi, kada držite izdanje u vašim rukama, vidjeli sebe kao dio ovog kolektiva - stoji u službenoj objavi.

Oglasila se i vojvotkinja.

- Gostujuće izdanje britanskog Voguea nagrađuje, obrazuje i inspirira. Kako bih duboko zaronila u taj proces, radeći tiho iza kulisa toliko mjeseci, sretan sam što sada mogu podijeliti ono što smo stvorili. Velika hvala svim prijateljima koji su me podržali u ovom nastojanju, izdvajajući svoje vrijeme i energiju za nastajanje ove naslovnice. TRH The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited to announce that they have been asked to carry out a tour to Southern Africa this autumn. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office have requested a visit to South Africa as well as The Duke carrying out visits to Malawi and Angola . His Royal Highness will also do a short working visit to Botswana en route to the other countries. The Duke and Duchess are really looking forward to meeting so many of you on the ground and continuing to raise awareness of the high impact work local communities are doing across the Commonwealth and beyond. This will be their first official tour as a family!
